Managing Direct Billing For 'Patient Pays' Accounts

Optometry/Vision Therapy clinics are solely responsible for determining the cost of their vision therapy services, which may include the use of NeuroVisual Trainer. One available option is the “Patient Pays” billing model, where OcuDigital bills patients directly for their NVT user license.

• Patients manage their own subscription payments under the Patient Pays model and have full administrative control of their accounts, including cancellation.
• Clinic staff may also pause or cancel a patient’s subscription at any time by archiving the patient’s account.
  • It is also the responsibility of the doctor or therapist to assign vision therapy exercises and decide which other NVT features patients should use.

To manage your NVT Patient Pays subscription, click your profile near the top left side of the NeuroVisual Trainer home page in your patient portal:

• Next, click MANAGE SUBSCRIPTION:

• From here, you can update your credit card on file, review your past invoices, or cancel your subscription.
