Once a patient has completed their Vision Therapy, their account can be archived to reduce unnecessary clutter on your My Clinic page, and more importantly, remove them from monthly billing. Don't worry; NeuroVisual Trainer saves all patient data when they are archived. If the patient should ever return to your clinic for more Vision Therapy, their account can be easily restored.
Patients can be archived manually, or by setting an expiry date in advance. In both cases, start by clicking the "View and Edit User" button for the patient you want to archive:
If you know in advance when your patient is going to "graduate" from their Vision Therapy, you can click SET EXPIRY DATE. Otherwise, archive them instantly using the ARCHIVE button at the lower left corner:
If you are setting an expiry date, just click the date that you want the patient to be archived, and it will be done automatically on that date:
*Remember, if your clinic account is using the Clinic Pays option for monthly billing, all patients displayed on your My Clinic page are subject to billing. Archive inactive patients to avoid paying for licenses that aren’t being used!
Even if your clinic has a yearly subscription to NeuroVisual Trainer with unlimited patient accounts, archiving inactive patients helps keep your My Clinic page clean and organized. This ensures that only active patients are displayed, allowing you to track their activity at a glance.
Restoring Archive Patients
If your archived patients should ever return to your clinic for more vision therapy, just click the ARCHIVED USERS tab near the top of your My Clinic page:
Use the search bar to locate the patient you want to restore, and click the green button.
*Notice that you can also view archived patients' Progress Reports from the "Archived Users" menu.
