Community Content

In an effort to foster a stronger community among Vision Therapy practitioners around the world, NeuroVisual Trainer is proud to offer the opportunity for our partner clinics to share resources with other clinics who also use NVT. Our Community Content tab features Video Exercises, Grids and Printables created by your colleagues and peers, all of which can be added to your clinic's NVT library, to be used in your office, and assigned to your patients!

Adding Community Content to your Clinic's library:

You'll find "Community Content" in the dashboard menu, at the left side of your "My Clinic" page:

Scroll through the catalog (or you can use the search bar, or the category buttons on the left to navigate), and click on an item to preview it:

Click ADD for any content you'd like to add to your Clinic's Videos, Tools, Grids or Reading Texts:

You will see that your chosen content has been added.

To find your new content, just click on the appropriate menu item for the content type you just added (in this case, it was a Video Exercise). You'll find your new content categorized in your Clinic's menus, ready to assign to your patients!

Submitting your custom content to the Community:

Community Content supports Video Exercises, Printable Sheets, Reading Texts, Grid Sets and Grid Schedules. Click the Edit button for the item you wish to share:

Prior to you sharing it, your content (a Grid Schedule in this case) is private, and can only be seen & used by your clinic:

Click the Share box in the lower left corner of the item's pop-up window (you may need to scroll down):

You will be prompted to add some Tags. These will help other clinics using NVT's search function find your content. Scroll though the list or type in the field provided to search for appropriate tags, click the boxes to add. You can even add your own!

When finished adding your Tags, click OK:

Write a Description for your content. This is to explain, in a nutshell, what your content is and what it can be used for (this is required):

Be sure to click SAVE!

Now you'll see that the icon for your content indicates that it has been shared:

Your content will be sent to NeuroVisual Trainer to be reviewed before it is approved to be shared with the NVT Community.
